Trung Cuong’s voice was given a score of 10 by Le Hoang
The opening night of the singing competition took place at Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City, mainly introducing to the audience 10 pairs of artists participating in the program with self-selected performances.

Khanh Ngoc – Le Trung Cuong chose the red song Truong Son Dong – Truong Son Tay to debut to the audience.
In addition to the above small suggestions, this pair of contestants received many compliments.
Another male vocalist on the night who also received many compliments was designer Thuan Viet.
Minh Tiep and Ha Thuy Anh chose the song I swear to perform.

The opening night also witnessed many humorous and joyful performances from a number of couples.
Le Minh Son exclaimed that Phan Dinh Tung has a wonderful co-star.
Thanh Thuy and Duong Trieu Vu brought a humorous introduction clip.
Le Minh Son commented: `I don’t recognize who is the singer and who is the actress. I really like Thanh Thuy’s sexy look.`
Khuong Ngoc – My Le also brought a fun introduction clip when they transformed into a romantic painter and singer.
Some pairs of contestants have an unattractive opening performance.
Kim Oanh – Quang Hao chose the contemporary folk music genre Red River Improvisation by musician Tran Tien.

Nathan Lee – Ngoc Oanh chose the song `The story has not yet begun`.
Hoang Hai and Thuy Linh chose Thanh Bui’s Magic Mirror but did not receive any compliments from the judges.
On the opening night, MC couple Tran Thanh – Vy Oanh took on the role of hosting the show quite well with humor and flexible improvisation.
The second contest night with pop ballad music will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 27, on VTV3.
