Pogba returns to Man Utd in world record contract

The Man Utd homepage announced a brief line about Paul Pogba’s return.

Paul Pogba will likely be the first player to reach the transfer price mark of 100 million pounds (more than 131 million dollars).

This is the first time an English team has held the world transfer record in 20 years.

According to the BBC, Man Utd has agreed on all terms with Juventus and only needs to complete the personal contract with Pogba.

This is a spectacular return for Pogba when just four years ago he left for Juventus on a free basis.

During his four years in Turin, Pogba made great progress and became a pillar of Juventus.

Pogba becomes the fourth contract of new coach Mourinho after Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Mkhitaryan.

Left as a bad boy, but now, Pogba returns as the world’s top star.

Pogba and his controversial return

The French midfielder’s return to Old Trafford was as noisy as the day he left.

`I don’t think he respected the team, so I was quite happy (when Pogba left),` coach Alex Ferguson once said.

There were times in the 2011-2012 season when Man Utd faced a serious shortage of midfielders when Paul Scholes retired, Owen Hargreaves left and Darren Fletcher was injured.

`I don’t want to sign a new contract to sit on the bench under Ferguson. He doesn’t use me, even though the team has no midfielder left. When I saw Paul Scholes return, part of me was happy because he was a legend.

In the summer of 2012, Pogba decided to leave Man Utd to seek more opportunities to play, when he felt he did not receive trust from coach Alex Ferguson.

In his autobiography, Ferguson took aim at Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola.

However, Ferguson no longer led Man Utd in the summer that Raiola was rampaging behind the scenes.
