According to Khanh Hoa province’s statistics, nearly 60 drivers often stop their cars at this station to protest the toll collection, causing traffic chaos on National Highway 1A through this area.

Mr. Le Duc Vinh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, requested Ninh Hoa town and departments to coordinate and handle ongoing problems at the BOT station.

For several consecutive days, drivers refused to buy tickets, and six-lane cars collected tolls, causing long traffic jams at the station.

At the end of 2017 and the first months of this year, this toll station was also protested by drivers who continuously used loose change to buy tickets and lined up cars.

The BOT project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A in the North of Khanh Hoa province is 38 km long with an investment of about VND 2,700 billion in the form of BOT.
