On December 8, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recognized Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine `meets the criteria according to clinical research regulations`.

The FDA said it is unclear why the vaccine causes this condition.

Bell’s Palsy is a temporary condition that causes facial nerve dysfunction.

The disease usually recovers on its own.

This is not the first time a vaccinator has suffered from Bell’s Palsy.

To date, the FDA has determined that the number of people with Bell’s Palsy in Pfizer’s trial does not exceed the usual frequency of vaccination or the baseline incidence of the disease in the general population.

Of the four people with Bell’s Palsy, one experienced facial paralysis three days after the injection.

Symptoms appear suddenly, look serious and are easily confused with a stroke.

Some people also become more sensitive to sound, often in the affected part of the face.

Each year, about 40,000 Americans of all ages develop Bell’s Palsy.

Respiratory infections such as colds or flu can be a risk factor for this condition.

Sporadic reports have shown that inactivated vaccines, which contain the virus, cause the disease.
