Gachvang Company Limited has just released the latest report on land prices of the most expensive roads in Thu Thiem new urban area, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City updated to mid-November 2017.

Specifically, land frontage on Tran Nao street, An Loi Dong ward, from the section of Mai Chi Tho street going through the center of this urban area in mid-November recorded 169.7 million VND per m2.

Next is Nguyen Co Thach street, Thu Thiem ward, the section passing through Mai Chi Tho, with frontage land price in the top 2 of this new urban area, soaring to 167.2 million VND per m2, an increase of 96,000 VND.

Occupying the top 3 position is Mai Chi Tho street.

The highest land price in Thu Thiem area as of November 2017 belongs to Tran Nao street, the section intersecting with Mai Chi Tho street, leading to the center of this new urban area.

Luong Dinh Cua Street leading to Thu Thiem through the Arc Avenue, is also classified as one of the roads with the leading land price in this urban area, recording 145.4 million VND per m2 in mid-November 2017.

Gachvang predicts that with plans to build many infrastructure projects to connect Thu Thiem seamlessly with the existing central area of Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas, land prices in this new urban area promise to continue to fluctuate.

Previously, in the report `Thu Thiem – golden time` published in mid-November 2017, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Vietnam stated that land prices in Thu Thiem are currently one-third the price of residential land.

JLL analyzes that currently, most of the land fund in Thu Thiem has investors through many different forms of land allocation and cooperation.

This unit added that, as of the fourth quarter of 2017, there are still many investors looking for opportunities in Thu Thiem through acquisitions or joint ventures with reputable domestic partners.

Thu Thiem urban area is located on Thu Thiem peninsula (District 2, Ho Chi Minh City), opposite District 1 across the Saigon River, with a total area of 657 hectares.

According to planning, the urban area has 5 main areas: central core area, northern residential area, residential area along Mai Chi Tho Avenue, eastern residential area, southern delta area.

To invest in building this new urban area, Ho Chi Minh City took 10 years to clear almost the entire Thu Thiem peninsula, about 15,000 households were relocated to make room for this super project.
