‘Name the four seasons’, a beautiful music night about Trinh Cong Son

The music night `Trinh Cong Son In The Spotlight – Name the four seasons` took place on the evening of December 22 at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.

The appearance of four `top` singers of Vietnamese music is skillfully and harmoniously arranged, seemingly suggesting an interesting implication about the `four seasons` in Trinh’s music.

Trinh Cong Son’s musical ideology has never been old, so to create something new in `Name the Four Seasons`, the performers of the music night did not use tricks, staging, or techniques… The new thing lies in the style.

Tung Duong opened the music night with One Realm Going Back to the applause and excitement of the audience.

This 8X `Truong Chi` has never been a name associated with Trinh’s music, but he gives the audience more than they expected from him.

My Linh and Hong Nhung have an impromptu combination in `Impermanent Flower`.

My Linh stepped onto the stage in the continuation of the song `Sad Stone Age` with Tung Duong.

In recent years, Hong Nhung has made efforts to renew herself, from fashion style to music.

Tuan Ngoc, who was praised by Trinh Cong Son during his lifetime as one of the best male voices singing his music, brought to the `Name the Four Seasons` stage an elegant yet sincere musical style.

In addition to the performances of each individual singer, the `Name the Four Seasons` night also featured emotional combinations between Hong Nhung and My Linh, Tuan Ngoc and Tung Duong.

Duc Tri and Hoai Sa bring a wonderful arrangement of Trinh Cong Son’s Impermanent Flower through the equally wonderful coordination between the two voices of My Linh and Hong Nhung (see clip).

Tuan Ngoc gave many compliments to Tung Duong.

In addition to the 4 names mentioned above, it would be a big omission if there was not a very important `character` that created the success of `Name the Four Seasons`, which is the orchestra and the wonderful harmonies and arrangements.

Hoa Binh Theater with its large space, accommodating more than 2,000 spectators, has held many music nights with noisy sound systems, broken microphones, and people sitting in the front rows were easily submerged and flooded in the `stream`.
