In the early match at Saint James Park between Mexico and South Korea, the two teams had good opportunities to win but both missed, causing the match to end 0-0.

In the second half, Mexico played better when they sent star striker Giovani dos Santos onto the field.

Aubameyang helped Gabon regain a point from Switzerland.

In the remaining match, Gabon made a surprise by holding a draw with the much higher rated team, Switzerland.

Switzerland couldn’t have gotten off to a better start when they were awarded a penalty kick in the 5th minute.

It seemed that after this goal, Switzerland would dominate the match and win a clear victory, but Gabon showed that it was not unreasonable for them to win the right to be present at this year’s Olympics.

In the first half of the second half, Gabon was the better team with a physical advantage.

With this result, the race for two spots in the quarterfinals in Group B promises to be very fierce as all four teams show equality and not too much difference in level.
