Reuters’ anonymous source said that at the second summit in Hanoi last month, US President Donald Trump gave North Korean leader Kim Jong-un both English and Korean versions of the physical demands.

This is believed to be the first time Trump has personally stated his views on denuclearization to Kim.

In addition to calling for North Korea to transfer nuclear weapons and bomb fuel, the document also has four other main points.

The existence of this claim was mentioned by US National Security Advisor John Bolton in a television interview after the summit.

The document appears to represent Bolton’s long-standing hard line on denuclearization according to the `Libya model`, which North Korea firmly rejects.

Trump once made comments different from Bolton’s approach, affirming that the `Libya model` will only be applied in case the US and North Korea do not reach an agreement.

According to the source, the request helps Pyongyang clearly and concisely understand the US definition of `complete and verifiable denuclearization`.
