After having a 2-1 victory in the friendly match against Israel, the Czech Republic has a home match against Hungary with the determination to win to create confidence for the home fans.

Hungary started the match better and opened the score after only 6 minutes.

In the 14th minute, it seemed like the match score was equal after Vaclav Pilars had a shot from the left side of the 16m50 box into the Hungarian net, but the referee did not recognize the goal because the home players fouled the opposing defender.

Plasil (left) and Kadlec (right) compete for the ball with Hungary’s Szalai.

The Czech Republic did not have to wait long for an equalizer.

The two teams entered halftime with ball control completely tilted towards the home team for 70% of the first half.

The Czech Republic had the first chance in the second half when their over-powered cross sent the ball straight into Hungary’s goal and goalkeeper Adam Bogdan had to show his talent to save the visitors.

Hungarian players appeared weak in attack and only focused on defense.

But when the audience was ready to leave, Hungary broke through the Czech defense in the 88th minute. Adam Gyusco received the ball close to the 5m50 box from an accurate cross on the left wing, the striker fired a low shot.

This is CH Zech’s last friendly match before Euro 2012. They will have their first match in the group stage against the Russian team next Saturday.

In another match, co-host Ukraine also had an unexpected match when losing to Austria with a score of 2-3.

Austria took the lead in the 3rd minute thanks to Junozovic after a direct free kick.

After this match, Ukraine has one more Euro preparation match against Türkiye.
