SEA Games wrestler Ha Van Hieu acts in a movie

On the morning of June 18, the film crew Father and Son (Father and Son) directed by Luong Dinh Dung held a premiere ceremony in Hanoi.

The plot revolves around a single father (Ngo The Quan) trying to realize the secret dream of his son named Fish.

The rough blind man is the role that marks the first time wrestler Ha Van Hieu appeared in a movie.

The 25th SEA Games champion wrestler shared his feelings about participating in cinema for the first time: `I want to spend fresh, whole emotions to imbue the character in this very beautiful and poetic story.`

In addition to wrestler Ha Van Hieu, actor Ngo The Quan (Time Away, Pao’s Story) also reunited with the audience after nearly 10 years.

Cinematographer Ly Thai Dung is responsible for being the director of photography in the film.

`Giang Minh Sai` Ngo The Quan plays a mountain father in the new movie.

The film Father Carrying Son is a short story written by Luong Dinh Dung in 1995 and intended to be brought to the big screen.

Born in 1973, Luong Dinh Dung started writing poems and stories in 1985. Before passing the University of Theater and Cinema, he used to wander from South to North, doing all kinds of jobs from gold mining, red stone digging, to trading.

Before the movie `Father Carrying Child` – scheduled to be filmed in early July, Luong Dinh Dung published two poetry stories `Let’s Go Toward the Sun` and `Homeless Girls` as well as released the documentary `Xam Do` about art.
