Parents did not attend Vardy’s wedding because they did not like their daughter-in-law

Jamie Vardy is the best player in the Premier League in the 2015-2016 season, contributing greatly to Leicester’s championship victory.

Vardy and Becky’s wedding took place on May 25.

`He has everything but a normal and happy relationship with his family. For the past 18 months, Jamie has not spoken to his parents and they were not invited to the wedding,` said a relative of the star.

England coach Roy Hodgson allowed Vardy to take time off from the match against Australia for the wedding.

The family was not present on the day Vardy lifted the Premier League championship, only his fiancee and daughter.

Vardy’s stepfather, Phil, said of the son he raised for 22 years: `It’s a shame and very sad. I can’t do anything directly for him anymore. I’m still a fan of him.`

`We won’t go to the wedding. It’s embarrassing and sad. I spent 22 years of my life bringing it to the top of my career and then I can’t enjoy it. It makes me very sad,` Phil said

Vardy’s mother, Lisa, thinks her life will go on regardless of her son’s wedding.
