Audiences 6X and 7X ‘rejuvenate’ at the Modern Talking music night

The program started at 8:30 p.m., but fans from the 6X and 7X generations like Mr. Dung arrived an hour earlier.

The song Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S For Love) was just sung by Thomas Anders – the lead singer of Modern Talking – drawing thousands of applause from the audience.

Modern Talking’s familiar songs such as Sexy Sexy Lover, China In Her Eyes, You Can Win If You Want, Brother Louie or No Face, No Name, No Number were performed one after another, alongside songs from their solo days.

At first, he was still hesitant, partly because he was afraid it would affect the visibility of the person behind him, Ha Thuy (49 years old, Hanoi) only dared to nod and sway to the music.

`Dad, what song is this?`, asked a seven- or eight-year-old girl sitting on her father’s lap with her arms around her father’s neck.

Minh Ngoc (26 years old, Hanoi) held her phone to record all the exciting moments to the sound of her mother’s music and her friends in their 50s. She smiled and said: `I have never seen my family dance with fire.`

Thomas Anders won the hearts of the audience thanks to his charm and dedication on stage.

At the age of 53, singer Thomas Anders’ voice is no longer what it used to be.

The friendliness and thoughtfulness of the Modern Talking singer also helped him score points in the eyes of fans.

When performing You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul in Accoustic style, Thomas Anders cleverly incorporated names like Vietnam, Hanoi… into the ending.

The music night ends around 10:30 p.m.

Stepping out of the auditorium, Mr. Van Dung still sang the melody of the old song.
