Truong My Chau, born in 1990, from Gia Lai, is currently an agricultural engineer working in Binh Thuan.

Every time she goes to the North, Chau usually spends 3 to 5 days climbing mountains, depending on her physical strength and the difficulty of the route, how many peaks she will climb.

4 of the 15 highest peaks in Vietnam that Chau has conquered.

Among the peaks, Chau rated Pusilung and Nam Cang Ho Tao as the most difficult to climb because of the dangerous, steep and long distance, while Fansipan is the highest peak but easier to climb.

Compared to the mountains in the vast Central Highlands, she sees the mountains and forests in the North as majestic and dangerous, with rich vegetation, and on the way it is easy to see clouds flying like `paradise` and forests of four-leaf flowers.

When Chau posted a photo of herself checking in with 15 peaks of the mountains on social networks, many people were surprised because the petite girl, weighing 39 kg, could climb all the `huge` mountains.

`Whenever I like to climb mountains, I just go, even running a marathon, I’m always ready, arrange my work well, feel relaxed, book a porter schedule, prepare my gear to go climbing right away.

Traveling a lot, happy and sad memories also multiply and for her everything is memorable. Sometimes she had an accident while climbing Fansipan, her legs hurt and she had to go down the mountain in the cold night;

Fansipan attracts cloud hunters, but Chau went there on a rainy and foggy day.

Chau said that if she could climb the mountain with her friends, it would be fun, but it would take a long time to arrange for everyone to go together, so she chose to go alone: `Going with a porter might not be as fun as going.`

This year, Chau was able to trek Chu B’Luk volcano – the largest volcanic cave in Southeast Asia in Dak Nong province before the Covid-19 epidemic broke out again in many provinces and cities across the country.
