The sign forest is located on the side of the Alaska Highway

One of the strangest destinations along the Alaska Highway is located near the town of Watson Lake, Yukon Territory, Canada.

This area was created thanks to the idea of Carl K.Lindley in 1942 when the new Alaska Highway was under construction.

The forest is full of signs on the Alaska Highway, Watson Lake, Canada.

Carl K.Lindley is serving in the military, working on the Alaska Highway near Lower Post, Canada.

Later, this job became part of the engineers in the US military, who often placed signposts at their campsites.

Signs were added by tourists from all over the world, expanding the area to more than 8,000 square meters.

Over many years, individual signposts have gathered into an entire forest of about 8,000 square meters.

Watson Lake is a town in the southern Yukon – the westernmost territory of Canada.
